Veteran actor Anupam Kher is set to play Manmohan Singh in a movie based on Sanjaya Baru's book, the accidental prime minister. Baru's booking was critical of singh’s first term as PM and had coincided with the 2014 parliamentary polls. Now the movie is expected to hit the screens in December 2018, just ahead of the next general election in 2019. While the book had been widely criticised by the Congress.It remains to be seen whether the film will ruffle any feathers.
