Prime Minister Narendra Modi has kick-started his four nation tour of Europe, in Germany where he met German Chancellor Angela Merkel. PM Modi is on a six day tour of Europe, where besides Germany, he will also visit and meet the heads of states of France, Russia and Spain. Prime Minister Modi is expected to sign a host of agreements to expand bilateral relations in terms of trade and defence. Some of the key issues which will be discussed will include India’s greater involvement in the economy of Europe with Britain after Brexit having pulled out of Europe. Apart from this, PM Modi is also expected to bring up the issue of Obor, which besides being just an economic revival of the ancient silk trade routes by China is also a projection of it Geo-political ambitions.
